Our Story
Pocket Cookies originally began as a three-piece in 2023, with Lori on vocals, Alexander on drums, and Eric on bass. After a year of doing funky, twisted covers to accommodate playing without a guitarist, we began to realize the limitations that not having a guitarist was having upon our ability to write and produce the originals that we wanted - which was our goal at the start - so we decided to begin the search for a guitarist.
At one point during that first year, the threesome had played at an Open Mic event after which a guitarist named Felix and his partner came up and talked to us. He said that he liked what we were doing and asked if we were looking for a guitarist. We explained that we weren't. Thankfully however, a few months later, once we had decided that we probably should start thinking about adding a guitarist, that same guitarist happened to come to one of our open mic nights that we had begun hosting. When the night ended, he again approached and asked if we were looking for a guitarist yet. This time, we said yes, and Pocket Cookies became the fun and funky four-piece that it currently is.
